EXCURSIONS: MAY 2016

April was a busy month and we're blesses that we had the opportunity to share our musical style with music lovers and dancers!

To start the month out Thanks to our peeps at Wonder Bar & guest Lee Pearson and also a special event in Logan Square.. The Church of Black Gold event with Jerome Derradji and Pauly C.

A shout out to the people of  Brasil for hosting Cordell Johnson on his first tour through Rio and Sao Paulo, we hope to return next year to do a full Excursions tour including our dancers from Chicago. (A shout out to NY dancer Rho Desia for coming out and being apart of the Rio event).

At Weekend Excursions

James Vincent will celebrate his birthday with a special set and we have fellow Nu Bang member Celeste Alexander with us!

Cordell Johnson and Torin Edmond will be the special guests at the Annex (formerly The Red Dog) playing along with resident David Sabat

Sunday at the Silver Room..

Sunday May 22nd, we are in full effect, Cordell will be playing on the southside with Daryll Mellowman at the Silver Room (hosted by Ms. Meme)

And JV will be doing his thing with Jevon Jackson and a special guest @ Fundamental (Jerry's)

Then on Thursday, he's back!!!

A special 6 year anniversary get together at Danny's!

Uchikawa was with us for the very first EXCURSIONS event, and it is our honor to have him back again to play with us for #6. 

If you haven't heard Uchikawa play before then come by and get ready to twirl!!

Then we're off to Detroit for the Movement festival..

3 days of electronic music out doors! But then the after parties are just as popping!! And with that we present:

celebrating our 5th year of true underground house!
